About Afterly
Afterly was founded in 2018 as a family project after a particularly drawn out series of uncomfortable traditional funerals. Our goal is to help others say farewell on their own terms and in their own way. At the same time, we also want to make the process affordable and easy. We create an event that honors your beliefs regarding death and honors a deep connection with nature and the earth. We do so with positive celebrations of the life of the individual. Some just want a simple service at home, while the latest trend is to create events more like a wedding celebration, with dinner and speeches, video and music.
There are many forms of non-traditional farewells. Whether you are more science-minded or religious and ready for something more uplifting: We offer memorial and funeral planning across the US to help you create a celebration of life that suits your beliefs.

Our like-minded funeral providers have decades of experience to give you the services you need in a way that honors YOUR beliefs. Afterly was founded to give non-traditional people the same dignity in our funerals and memorials as any other.

All of our member providers have committed to honoring YOUR wishes. We are professionals with training and knowledge, often from several generations that have served in your local community.
Our Facilities
We have facilities for any and every budget, as well as arrangements with non-traditional venues if you choose to hold larger services in a unique and contemporary way.
Our Community
In addition to immediate needs for funeral/memorial and burial. We offer referral to a range of other community services that help in the grieving process. We offer support and encouragement discussion groups and activities to help you recover after a loss. We promise to help surviving family to move forward with acceptance, love, respect, and joy.
